He's also charged with endangering the welfare of a child and a count

The nurse lives in Bergenfield and was recently arrested by the police
department there as well as by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office
Special Victims Unit after an investigation of the allegations made by
the teenager's parents.
The charges involve one in the second-degree (sexual assault) and two in
the third-degree (endangering the welfare of a child; diseased person
committing an act of sexual penetration).
The New Jersey Code of Criminal Justice states that "a person is guilty
of a crime of the third degree if he or she is infected with human immune

an act of sexual penetration without the informed consent of the other
The suspect's bail was set at $75,000 without a 10 percent option.
He was eventually released from the county jail after posting bail.
One of the suspect's friends said the man is a "dedicated"
nurse who is liked by his co-workers.
"We're hoping that he will be able to clear his name and get
his life back," the friend said.
